EXT Era owners thoughts/setup advice

I've borrowed a set of EXT forks while my 36s are away getting for their CSU replaced. Again.

Having the Storia shock I was keen to try them out but struggling a bit with setup. A few rides in and finding the mid stroke support and grip is great (better than the 36) but when just cruising along over general chatter/small bump stuff they feel inactive/quite harsh.

I generally like to run slightly stiffer than my weight suggests (76kg) and currently at 60+ 90++ and 8-8-14 (hsc-lsc-r) have played around with both but found under that the fork then lost the support. Pretty sure I've got my head around how both chambers work and interact with each other but interested to hear how others have set them up - especially as most reviews rave about the side that I've struggled with.
