Anyone had this style of chainstay plate retrofitted to a frame as a repair? Think of any reason this might be stupid?
Seems like it might be an easier way to fix my inbred where the chainstay is gubbed behind then chainrings rather than putting a whole new chainstay in. Might also give me more clearance. Don't mind if it adds a few grams.
