Evenin' all.

Can anyone recommend a place to have an aluminium frame and carbon fork re-sprayed? Not entirely sure whether painting or powder-coating, so any experience of either would be useful too. If anyone has had a frame done in red, it would be good to see a picture of the finished article.

I’m in mid-Wales so likely to have to ship it, so location isn’t too much of a problem.

Ta.

Actually, Ming, I agree with you! Lime green all the way, if it was for me. Unfortunately it's for a red-obsessed friend!

rule out the forks if going for powder coat. You normally need a conductive substrate that you can earth to get the powder stick but even if you can get it to stick you then need to bake the part which I wouldnt do without knowing the cure temp of the part.

Bristol way you have Argos and also ABC Enamelling who both get good reviews.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Some great work done on show by Argos and Fat Creations.

I'm on a bit of a tight timescale having only just come up with the idea of a re-spray for a friend's birthday. Anyone had good results from anywhere in a fairly short space of time?
