My Mrs ordered a set of shin pads from Evans through their website:

The site indicated 5-7 days for the pads to be in stock - but I'm still waiting for them to be dispatched four weeks later. Apparently, they're still waiting for them to be transfered from the store to the mail order warehouse. I'd cancel the order but I can't find them anywhere else. Are they normally this slow ?

We're normally pretty quick, have you called them and asked why it's taking so long? 0870 142 0116.
They should be able to see why the shop hasn't sent them yet.
Don't work in mail order bit though.

Cheers Akira. All I could get was that there was a delay transfering them from the shop to the warehouse. I'll keep nagging.

Shops get regular requests for stock they have that needs to go back to the warehouse, in theory should be relatively straight forward.

Update Akira; your mail order colleagues have offered to dispatch an alternate set of guards right away and I don't have to pay the difference 😀

Ah, meant to check up on this sooner to make sure you'd been sorted out.
Glad to hear it's all fixed.
