Do I need my passport to get euros, even if I am paying for them with a card?

I usually go to M&S, anywhere better?

I checked the other day and the Post Office were better than M&S

I ordered some at my local PO, don't think I'll be needing my passport

You have to order them at the PO?

No wonder they're losing money faster than Madonna in the Malawian courts.

The PO wouldn't give me any currency with my debit card without other ID
Although, I could use the ATM in the PO to get the money out & then go back to the counter ๐Ÿ˜•

Anyway look at this tool

you need other ID (ie. passport) if you're paying by any type of card. If you're paying cash, you don't need ID.

beware if you use your credit card you'll get stung at least on interest and possibly a withdrawal charge as it's essentially withdrawing cash.
