I'm looking for a map showing the location of all free ride / downhill bike parks in europe for a friend who is looking to go on a long road trip next year.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Not sure about sites listing all, I know there are some in Germany and we went to this one in belgium:

www.filthytrails.be

Also loads of bike parks in the alps...

All of europe? It'll be a long road trip, just the driving
Are you including/remembering Scandinavia for one?

I'd guess you (or your friend) will have to invest in some sort of literature on the topic such as this
Though beyond listing the resorts, it isn't all that amazing as a resource IMO. Plenty of googling (forums, video, photo hosting sites, etc etc) will probably still be needed

I wish it was me going.
He wants to start in Portugal and head east ending up in Budapest and doing as many bike parks as he can on the way.

forget that book, check this out....

http://www.bikeparkmap.com/

it's german but should be easy enough for you to work out.

check the top left and in the second box you can choose a country.

the "tick" boxes below are obvious enough.

shout if you need anyhing translated....

If he starts in Portugal, he should check out Manzaneda bike park, just North of Portugal in Spain.

Try Rowen Sorrell's Book. The man certainly knows his onions, and its a pretty well laid out book.

es hört si ähnli an wia bairisch....

i was there last week. the downhill over the hill in Leogang was quite demanding for me on my HT. the freeride & singletrail bits were fun.

i rode the Big 5 tour on the friday. good fun. ~6000m descending using the various lifts to get around.

ach ja, beim gehen dauert es ne weile.... am besten fährst du dahin. 😉
