[Closed] Euro orientated brakes from uk supplier. Normal?

Ordered some new xt 8000 brakes last week from a uk supplier/shop.
Got them today and they're the 'wrong' way around. Front brake on the left lever, rear on the right.

It's not a big issue of course as I can swap them over but just wondered if it was to be expected? I've bought plenty of brakes before from the UK and never had this issue.

There wasn't an option for either on the site, just...a pair.

I had hoped to just wang them on with a nice factory bleed but can't now.

Swap them over and stop whingeing or ask for a set in uk flavour?

I was hoping to fit them for Sunday is all as my current xt are playing up...

A rear brake on the wrong way yesterday...

but just wondered if it was normal?

Only if the shop got them grey import rather than from a UK distributor.

I've bought a few from chain, but you normally select an option. These weren't from there and no option to select and no mention of orientation.

It's a very quick swap over. 99.9% of the time there's no bleeding required.
