If weight is important to you then I can quickly state that these cranks from e*thirteen should probably be at the top of your shopping list

Doubly wary of these having been burnt in the past by carbon cranks from other brands and the generally low quality of e-thirteen products.

But low weight and shiny draws me in every time

I had E 13 cranks come on my Salsa Beargrease. I went through two bottom brackets in the space of a few months before binning them for a square taper BB and Middleburn cranks. They looked nice but the bespoke bb set up didn't last any time at all. Definitely a case of flaw more and not flaw less.

No way that I’d risk using a significant load bearing part from E13, regardless of material, but Carbon cranks???
Hahahahaha!

generally low quality of e-thirteen products.

Matches my previous experience of e13 components.
