Hi there,
Im new here and thought Id introduce my self a bit first. Im your regular swedish office dude who started biking alot a few years ago. Now I train quite a bit and Im in a decent shape. I like to have a lot of variation in my riding so I ride cross country, trails and on occation drop into simpler runs on DHs.
Ive also done a few marathons and do few multisport (mtb, orienteering and paddling)races as well. No huge ambisions other then wanting to improve. But I enjoy it.
So my next bike should be fast and enjoyable in marathons but it should also be good on my local trails. My local trails are relativly flat, but techical (roots, mud and stone) with short climbs and short decents.
I do travel alot and I do like to bring my bike along. So I do get to run longer decent singletrails and drop into some easier DH stuff at times as well.
Ive narrowed it down to three bikes that I think would fit me and my wallet. The Specialized Epic Comp 29er, Giant Anthem X 1 29er, Scott Genius 940 and Cube AMS 29 Race.
Though I have a bit of a hard time to decied between them and would like to gain a bit better understanding in where my compromizes are, because I do know I will have to compromize on the wide range of use I want to achive.
So please could you help me rate the three bikes in the three following cathegories on a 1-5 scale.
