Hello - I've just inherited an old alu Pinarello Galileo frame for a winter/turbo bike but not sure of BB thread. Any of you good fellows have an idea before I buy? I suspect it's circa 2003. Many thanks.

My money would be on Italian, do you have an English BB you can try?

Sadly not, but I suspect Italian too. Not the end of the world to send one back

Anyone got a spare groupset for sale too? ๐Ÿ™‚

Check which way the screen thread goes on the drive side, Italian bb's will have a right hand thread on both sides of the bb

Measure the shell
English bsa shell will be 68mm wide
Italian threaded shell is 70mm wide
