So it's OK now to batter someone because 'I thought he was going to hit me, so it was self defence'!!!!
Could the 'jury' have been 'influenced' by the fact he is the England captain and it's nearly world cup year. Surely not.
What's John Terry done?
I heard on Talksport this morning before the verdict came in that the Afray charges were difficult to get a conviction on, as so many different factors had to be met! Knew then he'd get a "not guilty" verdict!
He's not the england captain, he's a very naughty boy.
There's a 90+ post thread on the subject over on the chat forum.

Steven Gerrard is not the current England captain (though he has captained the side), that title currently belongs to John Terry of Chelsea who incidently was charged with affray and assault in January 2002 following an incident at a London club.
Gerrard is however the Liverpool captain and the jury will probably have been influenced by his fame and the skills of his legal team who will have cost a significant amount of money.
Draw your own conclusions on the suitability of these two as the representatives of their country and the equality of the legal system for the rich and the poor....
I do apologise, thought Gerrard was the captain, but it would appear he's the vice captain.
Makes you wonder what the captain could get away with.
Rape?.
Genocide?.
