Weeksy I 'd love to join your thread and join you at one of these enduro but I've only black shorts..nothing bright enough.

Bit of both, all depends on the location. For example, Gisburntoday had 4 stages, stage one was actually one of the first climbs through the woods so had a few pedally bits, stages 2, 3 and 4 were all downhill.
But I'd say they all have a fair mix of the two, but with the emphasis on gravity!!
