Bit of both, all depends on the location. For example, Gisburntoday had 4 stages, stage one was actually one of the first climbs through the woods so had a few pedally bits, stages 2, 3 and 4 were all downhill.
But I'd say they all have a fair mix of the two, but with the emphasis on gravity!!
