Looking to pick up some humvee 3/4. Usual waist size is 34ish. Large? Extra small? How do endura size up these days?
34 = large for me on my latest purchase
I'm 32/33" and went for large recently, seems about right. Medium would not have worked.
edit - there's room for a bit more, so 34 = large.
Picked up a pair of hummvees in the recent psa/wiggle sale. Am 34 waist, ordered a med but sent back for a large.
34 waist and found the leg cuffs of their waterproof shorts a bit tight in the large size and could have probably done with XL. Usually the large in other brands has generous room left so not a chubster. At least i don't think so...
I'd go L for 34", the XL Hummvees are a decent fit for my 36" (and shrinking) waist.
32/33 waist and L are a good fit
Seems to have got better. The two XL Humvee's I recently bought are similar in size. The two L Zyme I bought before that were more a L and a M/L.
I'm 31" waist and medium are just about right - I wouldn't want them any smaller though. They're a good 3" smaller than an older pair I have (also medium) which won't stay up without a belt......
32" waist here and owner of two pairs in large size. Bought a pair of mediums in the Wiggle sale to try them out but they were too tight with no room to move about on the bike. Endura size guide says large are for something daft like 35-38". No way someone that big would comfortably fit.
Altura are another cycle apparel company with inconsistent sizing.
36" waist here, and the XL humvees I got the other week fit fine.
For me I'm large (maybe XL) shorts and Small jackets/gilets.
Hench thighs obviously.
The size of my stomach seems even more variable than Endura's sizing.
The two put together creates an unlikely combination of comfortable fit...
