Has anybody ever used the little clip thing on the left hip?
Whilst I think that the shorts are pretty good (I’ve got 3 pairs) I will be forever reminded of the presence of this little clip thing as I have a scar the same size and shape as it on my ass.

like me getting a camelbak buckle shaped scar all the way up my front.
never did work out what that clippy bit is intended for.

It's for attaching a chunky bulk of keys, so the scar shape is more dramatic and more 3D! 😆

Yes, I've used it to attach a compass, or map, I can't quite remember. I used it once and that was a couple of years ago.
