Just perusing my spam folder and noticed one that appear to come from wiggle. I had a closer look and it turned out it was in fact from 'Wiggleurope' not Wiggle.
Email is obviously a phishing scam, but just thought i'd mention it in case anyone else has seen one and been clicking on the links contained within.
Quite curious how my email address got to the scammers tho - the fact it's for wiggle seems a bit specific to be random chance.
I get them from 'wiggleeurope' or is that what you meant? The wiggle emails used to be from @wiggle.co.uk. I only noticed the change as the filter I set up no longer automatically sorted the emails directly into my wiggle folder. These don't look like a scam, the links in the email are to wiggle.co.uk. IE thinks this is the same wiggle.co.uk that I have a previously saved shortcut to.
its not a scam - it is from wiggle. their mailing list emails come from news@wiggleeurope.com
from wiggle website:-
"To prevent wiggle emails from being treated as spam, please add news@wiggleeurope.com to your contacts. "
and likewise above, all the links are to the wiggle.co.uk website
ah... but 'news' from an online shop IS spam...
Ah I stand corrected - I still get other mails from wiggle tho. Wiggle aren't doing themselves any favours here - if you access wiggleeurope.com all you get is a dodgy looking CMS login screen.
