There are stories all over cyberspace about the elusive RS Tora 80-130mm capabilities via a simple spacer.
Some wizened internet gurus say that some can be changed and others can't. Others state that the OEM forks cannot be changed and the XC ones cannot either.
I've seen the sacred diagrams of the internals of the forks. I've looked at my own trusty 318 air solo and I've prayed to the RS beings that they give me a sign that I have the spacers inside.
But alas, I don't know and don't particularly fancy pulling them apart without an end goal.
Anybody got any ideas as to how to tell if the forks can be adjusted or not?
if its 318 solo air it should be fine. but you will have to take them apart.

Quite happy to give it a go. Might even pick up a servicing kit while I am at it, but I am concerned that there might not be the extra 30mm of stanchions in there to do it, which is what I have read about.
My oem 318 solo airs had 100mm of travel when I bought them. I decided to see if they had the spacer. Upon opening them up I discovered they had the spacer in the 130mm travel position. Odd I thought as I was only getting 100mm of travel. When I put them back together, low and behold, I got 130mm travel.
It's very easy to change the spacer as long as you have a decent 24mm socket and a shock pump for when they go back together. Why not give it a go.......free travel upgrade!
