New Elite Zumo here. I was just going to sign up for Zwift but some of the Elite apps look good too. I'm particularly taken by the idea of recording a real ride and then replaying it at home. Has anyone done this and did it work OK? I think it's also possible to share these rides which would be neat too.
Any other general feedback on the Elite Apps would be good too.
You can try, but my experience is that elite's software is awful! What device are you recording the real rides you want to recreate on? Newer garmins will replay them to the trainer for you. Surely other makes do that too? And it's not a straight choice between elite and zwift either - RGTs "real roads" feature will convert your real rides into a virtual one you can ride on screen.

12 month free sub to the Elite apps so I might as well try them.
Like Savoyad I found the offerings to be awful. Couple of years ago now so maybe they’ve improved.
