Has anyone tried drop bars on theirs?
How do you find it for singletrack riding?
I want to be able to vary my hand position on long mixed rides.
Jones H bar perhaps?

I use Cane Creek Ergo bar ends on mine. I'd say I ride on them more than the bars themselves unless I'm actually having to brake or change gear regularly. Certainly tempted to try my Jones Bars on it sometime.

TT length would be an issue, unless you used a 40mm stem you'd be far too stretched out, and a 40mm stem would just feel wierd on the flats Singular do a drop bared moutainbike, the gryphon with a more road-like top tube length.

My el-mariachi top tube is 620mm, my road bike is 560mm for comparison.

My Inbred is around about 620mm TT, I run Midges with a 60mm 35Deg stem and its great!
This information may or may not be helpful.......

I tried my El Mariachi with some On One Midge bars. It was fairly comfortable for short distances but due to the huge saddle to bar drop it was uncomfortable over any length of time.

With a higher angle stem it probably would've been better but I never got round to trying it out.

I did honc and some other stuff with my el mar fitted with some bell lap drop bars
I did fit a high rise stem but found it worked out just fine
Comfy and rode fine on anything I wanted to ride with a ridged forks

Only put normal bars back on when I got a proper cross frame to fit all
The bit to
