This evening for a change I rode along the cycle path from Cramond to town, the majority of people seemed to be happy and smiley, but a sizable chunk of folk seemed to have got out of bed on the wrong side today. One guy had a go at me for overtaking him, whilst another load of folk just flatly ignored me. Am I missing something? Do cycle path commuters exist in a world of their own with their iPods and fixed gaze?
I think I'll stick to the dual carriageway, people are generally friendlier on there...

I'm usually of a cheery disposition and will happily wave/smile at anyone.
Expect a whole heep of "just coz you're on a bike, why should I acknowledge you" types along any minute.
