Can someone explain why I'm unable to "Share" my ride? The button is greyed out.

Are you connected to anyone else on Garmin Connect?
I think in order to share your ride, you have to have someone to share it with.
I'm afraid I use Connect less and less these days, all the site upgrades have made it more difficult to use, at least with my Edge 500 they have.
Hi neilm no just wanted to email it to a friend who rides the same routes (but does not have a Garmin) but since posting this been searching on Google and I agree with you they have to be on Garmin connect which is a bit crap thanks for your info. Bloody daft really but there you go.

Disconnect close program reopen and log in then connect your device. It can be problematical I'm afraid.
I still can't maps on Garmin, keep getting an error message. Bloody annoying
