doing long edale Jacobs ladder route on Saturday , what are the conditions like at the moment

In the photograpghy thread there was a lot of snow up on Kinderscout so could be quite snowy. I did the ride a few years ago in April a week or so after snow and there where still some decent drifts up on Mam Tor and on the Pennine Bridleway

Always found there to be significantly more snow at the top of Jacob's Ladder than in the local area. It also gets incredibly icy due to the amount of runoff.
