On a recent bike trip to the Alps, on the way home my Evoc bike bag was damaged - wheels broken, housing cracked.
I got confirmation from the Easyjet representative at Liverpool airport of the damage, and all signed off.
After much emailing and phone calling to, frankly, useless and de-motivated staff at the company handling the claim, I have finally received a replacement bag in the post - but it's not an Evoc bag - it's just a cheap, softshell bike bag, like you get from CRC....
What do you think my next step is?
Do I have any say in what type of replacement they provide?
I'll ring them tomorrow but I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts before the call.
Do you have anything in writing?
Read the T&C's carefully and check what it says about replacement stuff.
Send them an e-mail/letter and call them to confirm and ask for everything in writing. I'm guessing don't open the packaging etc.
