Planing to ride there on the May bank holiday so would love a few routes from the locals.
happy to trade FOD or Quantock secrets 😉
Bump
Longminge fnaar.
Eastridge isn’t that big and easy to just explore. Ride up the big hill follow to posted route or take a random side trail. All paths seem to end up back at the car park.
Trailforks might be more use for Eastridge.
I found it hard to navigate there with a GPX due to the dense network, and it was my GPX from the race I did there.
I did something along the lines of this MBR one. Was a nice ride out. Beautiful out there.

There's some good little sections about and if I played golf, I'd play at that Church Stretton golf pitch. It's epic.
Eastridge is relatively compact so mostly just follow your nose.
There's a good ride from Eastridge up and over to Stiperstones. Fantastic views. Couple of awesome descents from Stiperstones down to the road below. A really cool ridgeline one but it's best to just get out there and have a poke about.
Must get back there soon.
Longminge.
I just laughed my nuts off.
The ride over to Stiperstones sounds interesting.
Would that make a day’s worth of riding?
Eastridge and Stiperstones together yes.
I've ridden the Mynd twice now. It's relatively easy to navigate. First time was the MBR route setting off from Church Stretton and the second time was a variation of this setting off from Marshbrook and including dropping down two descents on the Asterton side of the Mynd. Enjoyed both days (but perhaps wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to ride it again).
Rode Eastridge once (the day after the second ride at the Mynd) and was really impressed and would like to go back and ride/explore more. So adding Stiperstones sounds good. Nice flowing, tight wooded singletrack. Although not a trail center it's generally signposted. I parked up at Snailbeach, rode up the hill took a left into the woods and joined the trail with a black and red option. There is a FC car park on the opposite side of the hill to Snailbeach which looks to be the more official place to start. It's quite an intense, concentrated place to ride and remember being quite spent after 10k.
Either way, if it's any use, you can DM me and I can export my Strava routes as a GPX as a point of reference.
For me at Long Mynd I normally start in Church Stretton and park at the Carding mill valley, something like 3 pound to park all day.
If you want a harder climb then go up carding mill valley to the top (can be full of walkers) or if you want to fire road it then I head up to little stretton or road then head to all stretton.
Once on the top pick a route to come back down, the ride over to stipers I've never really enjoyed but the descent from that MBR link is a good one.
