Have fitted a Tongsheng kit to my shopper.
Loving it’s convenience but the Q Factor is giving my knees grief.
Do factory E bikes have wide pedals?

Shimano EP8 on an Orbea Rise here. Pretty sure it's a very similar q-factor to mtbs. Certainly, my sensitive knees agree with it!

Can measure later if that helps?

it varies from motor to motor, according to the internet:-

shimano ep8 = 177mm
bosch cx gen 4 = 175mm
tq hpr50 = 135mm

normal bike = 135mm

I have bikes with the bosch gen 4 and the tq motor ,plus normal bikes, and I cant tell any difference between them

You can get cranks that are for ebike motors like the tongshen with lower q factors that will fit.  Maybe from the bafeng?  Try ebike forums

Tj have fitted bafang drive side to even it out.
Now fitted non drive side as my left knee is worse. It’s now uneven but narrower . Will try later.
