Morning All

Finally have a DX torch, batteries, charger, arrived and in the cellar. How best to mount them to the bars please?

Also is DX the slowest retailer in the world in terms of delivery, with the possible exception of if a boatyard you order a custom round the world yacht or anything via MOD procurement?

I thank you

Paul

PSA Darwen, Lancs was covered top to toe in sheet ice yesterday (from Tockholes). 3 falls in 100m on a moor track whilst pushing precluded pedalling. Oddly proper off road was no better.

Is it one of the wee P7 lights you've got? If so, I've been getting on fine with the cheapo bike mount ( http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8274) secured with cable ties.

HTH.

2 fish lockblock is the best option you have to buy (I broke one of the universal holders trying to fit it!), otherwise your better off making you own from old torch QR mounts if you have any..

is a lot better!

a bit silly ordering the light, waiting weeks for it to arrive then deciding you want a bar mount isn't it?

Or take any handlebar clamp for a computer or other set of lights, add a couple of zip ties and some 'Blue Peter-esque' inginuety, and you can make your own.

I used my old BLT mount, drilled 2 holes through the plastic, zip ties threaded through, and job done.

+1 what tandemwarriors said, Ive just used an old commuter light bar mount and a velcro strap to mount an LED torch to my bars for offroading. Will probably replace the strap with zip ties to get a bit more of a rigid mount, though it doesnt actually need it.
