My bike has just been knicked and to add insult to injury, my mate got a sweet new specialized road bike(via 50% cycle scheme discount) the same day mine went walkabout. As a DWP employee, I can only get 15% discount with Halfords, thebikemarket.com (website has been down for maintenance for weeks) and 5% discount with evanscycles. I feel gyped as the DWP don't provide employees membership to a standard cycle scheme due to tax reasons and instead offer a salary advance which you spend at three websites.
Any suggestions on what i should do?
