Was getting all excited for lots of nerdy analysis of my suspension, but looks like ill have to wait...
Dusty Dynamics are pleased to announce that we have entered a businesses partnership with a leading suspension and electronics manufacturer to deliver ShockWiz to market. This partnership gives Dusty Dynamics access to product design, testing, quality control and production capabilities far beyond that of a small start-up company. In addition it enables us to deliver an enhanced software experience and deploy software upgrades that would otherwise have been difficult to achieve.
All this additional capability and quality control does come at a cost: time. As a result of the new partnership, there will be a delay in delivering ShockWiz to you. Shipping is now expected to be in August 2016. We will not be taking any new pre-orders during this period.
That said, we now have all the resources aligned to bring a great ShockWiz product to market. From here forward, we will send a backer update at the beginning of every month and regular posts to Facebook. We know that many of you will be curious as to the identity of our business partner, but that will be revealed in due time.
We do realise that this is not what you originally signed up for, however we want to receive as much feedback as possible from our initial backers before releasing the product to the rest of the mountain biking world. We would therefore appreciate your continued support and we invite you to provide comment on ShockWiz when you receive your device. If you are not happy with the direction ShockWiz is taking and wish to exit the program, email us at info@shockwiz.com.
We look forward to working with all of you and making ShockWiz as great as it can be.
Cheers
Nigel and the ShockWiz team
Thank god for that, I still have another summer of blaming incorrect suspension setup for being crap.
Over promise and under deliver.
It should be the new Kickstarter marketing strap line..
