Can anyone tell me the correct path to follow to get to the start. The last time we where their we ended up pushing up the trail to the start,do we follow the Birmam hill walkers path sign

THere's a long slog from the hermitage or up the steep walkers path. Pretty easy to follow the walkers path all the way to the top rather than push up the trail. Isn't any longer or harder.
