Thinking of heading up on Sunday and just wondering what trails we should check out. Been a few times previously and mostly done the Birnam hill side, so might look to try and do a bit more on the Atholl hill side.

Athol is a bit disrupted as they have taken a big chunk of timber out. The trails off the rocking stone are suffering with water damage and you can't do the nicer connect from Yer Maw over.

Hermitage side was nice on Sunday but we were on some of the spicier stuff so depends on your comfort zone

We're all fine with Tweed Valley off piste/enduro.

Pink Floyd is good fun. We did Crash Test and Life Insurance, LI has a exposed corner early on but the chute is a pretty obvious line and everything else is less scary.

Bambi's Farts is good.

On Athol Sacrifice was running well with not too much water on it. Haven't been up the mast for a while

Cheers. I was thinking of parking at the station, so one of PF or R&R then take it from there.

Progression Bikes had a wee map with a sort of "best of" in one handy loop when I was up there in the Summer last year, which was perfect for a one day flying visit  Go in, buy something, take a copy of the map

Rake and ruin is much better than pink floyd (also not a river at the moment unlike PF) just ends further away from all the other trails.

Commit or cry, phoenix, Bambi's farts into 9.8 is my favourite run on hermitage side. 9.8 is pretty gnarly though so depends on what your looking for.

Both trails on the mast hill are great aswell. You can do all three hills in one day aswell if your keen. Stop for a coffee in town on the way through

Wet week coming up so I would be on R+R, Mast trails and Cairn to cottage.
Commit or cry, phoenix, Bambi’s farts into 9.8 is good but less fun/harder in the wet IMO.

I preferred rake or ruin last time I was up, probably a year ago. Not tried the mast trails.
