how do, i have a deceptively simple question for all you knowledgeable people.
where can i buy rear chainstay / horst link bushings for my voodoo canzo (yes yes it was my first full susser and i like it, its just halfords who suck, if i'd known how much i'd have got that 09 meta 5.5 i was eyeballing)or have a spec sheet with accurate measurements (i was using a tape measure i got out of a cracker as its all i had lol)
i've taken measurements, even looked at flanged bearings but nothing seems to match up on simplybearings.co.uk measurement wise, i'd settle for bushings, if i could find them either.
i emailed halfords and their "bike specialist" suggested i contact the store, which last time didnt go so well (i had to email the whole board of directors about how difficult they were making it to buy the bike in the first place, worked though) so having contacted the store and said "the bushings are worn will you sell me a new set" they responded with "ooh you have to bring the bike in to check for damage" even though i pointed out its a long way and i dont have a car apparently this is the only way they have of me getting my hands on 4 50p pieces of plastic.
help me singletrack forum, you're my only hope.
Have you tried phoning voodoo directly? They might pop a few in the post to you... Failing that what about asking Tim @ sideways cycles for some help, they used to deal with voodoo iirc.
sent them an email 2 days ago and not got an answer, which from reading american forums is the norm now. i think they are actually owned by BTI.
but thanks for suggesting tim i just noticed his posts in some other threads after a search, will send him a pm if possible
