Anyone know anything about this - I assume it's not happening and just heard the Ice factor had a fire in June and is still closed, which would scupper it being held in KLL. Any other news?
I rode most of the Dudes trails mid July. The Ice Factor was fully open and no signs of a fire, so no problem there. I thought the trails were great fun but in places were an absolute cut up mess, especially Grey Mares. Can't really see them being in a fit state for racing unless they've been worked on over the last couple of months.
No kll race this year. Trails are awesome chaos, great for tech riding, not so good for racing just now but it would only take a few folk a day to move the mad boulders.
Ice factors been closed most of the summer but was on bbc yesterday, due to reopen this winter. It's the biggest indoor climbing centre in the world apparently!

iirc there's an issue or two with getting permission to race on those trails again
