I'm looking for a 5.1d rim to replace the front rim on my wheel, but I can't believe the price of them - cheapest I can find for a 32-h rim is around £50.
Seems crazy that you can buy a complete front wheel (Hope Hoop built with Hope Pro2 and DT Swiss Comp spokes) for only £35 more...
Can anyone suggest where any source for a cheaper 5.1d rim before I go off and buy a complete wheel?

ha! You should try Salsa Gordos! Mine cost near enough £100 for one.
But there's nothing else out there like it.

There's nothing wrong with my current front hub (a 3-year old Hope XC with new bearings in Jan) but I can see it being replaced with a whole new front wheel rather than only replacing the rim. Better value by far buying the whole wheel bearing in mind rim/spoke/rebuild costs. Seems daft 🙁
