Anyone know how good the 2015 DT swiss m1700 spline2 are. Only ever run Stan's and are happy with them. Pretty much used for Trail/all mountain on my full suss.
It will be a good wheel set.and star ratchet hubbed so all good on the important internals.
I ran the m1700 spline1 two seasons ago and it was bomber. That same wheel set did another season under one of our guides and is still in great shape.
My only gripe was the relatively narrow 19mm width meant I had to run 2.4 contis at higher psi than I'd like to avoid burps, but the new Mspline2 has a 22.5 mm width in line with my current xm1501 splines and same tubless tape set up.
Obviously I'm much prefer the weight of the 1501's but the price point on the spline2 is much easier to take.
