DT Swiss F232 One XC Fork?

Pretty interested in this fork for fast bikepacking, however info and reviews are very thin on the ground.  Even a topic on here two years ago didn't really get any responses.

Basically I've worked out that its light, adjustable, 32mm stanchions but with the stiffness of a 34mm fork, and that its supple yet supportive so doesn't sit into its sag too much, which keeps the usable travel up and perhaps suggests that it would deal well with a few extra kg of bikepacking gear.

I've just bought a SID Ultimate but its come with a different damper than advertised so tempted to send it back, splash out an extra £25 and buy the DT Swiss that comes with the three position damper.  Also having second thoughts about the bladder damper and lockout in the 21> model SID which can have issues.

I had one on my Titus and it was a very capable fork and easily the match of an SID or a 34 and to my mind, felt more capable the more it was pushed - the opposite of a 34.  It wasn’t as light as claimed (1400g) and the travel couldn’t be adjusted without prohibitive cost.  But if you’re looking for a lightweight, stiff, good looking 100>120mm fork - it’s definitely worth a look.

i've had a few of dt swiss older forks ie Xmm (i think) and really liked them, deffo as good if not better than the fox/rockshox equivelent at the time, in fact the build quality was better, i wouldn't hesitate in buying again

It was a while ago but the DT Swiss forks I had were better than the equivalent RS and Fox forks I also had around the time. I couldn't understand why they weren't more popular tbh. I wouldn't hesitate in getting another pair but they rarely seem to pop up.

I bought an unused but 4 year old hardtail only because of the DT fork. It’s an OPM O.S.L. , tested it now for half a year and I love it. Light (ca. 1600g) and a great 100mm through axle.

It‘s the version with the reverse arch, see also the review on pinkbike

Thanks all, I've taken the plunge and ordered a pair.  Can't see a bad word about them so fingers crossed!

Biketart have them for £425
