Anyone ridden there in last month ? I know that the black stuff and the red sections at the river were lost in the storms. Was there I think in early spring, before Rik moved on and was able to put a nice couple of hours together with a few red sections and a couple of laps.
Pondering heading down tomorrow am, but not sure if it’s fallen into disrepair or under a new maintenance regime ? The castle FB is promoting the red and blue trails….
The black loop over the road is rideable but some areas you need to follow the little helper tape hanging from branches to see a way through. It's not "groomed".
Red is as it's been for a while - nothing below the bottom road to the river. Rest is all good and don't forget to loop the old XC bit through the "dark woods" then "down the up" after the first climb and before you drop down first "official" red decent
