Entering the world of dropper seatposts after finding a good deal on a ks lev.
Im assuming you’re meant to run a full length outer cable on these but as it’s cable operated, and since I’ve gone 1x11, is there any reason I can’t spit the outer and use my old front mech cable routing along the tt?

You can use any cable that works. I’d imagine if the outer cable sits nicely at each end it will work fine.
