I should be getting a frame that has a Rock Shox Reverb A1 dropper. It sags about half the travel. Is it worth getting it serviced (Tftuned is £99) or just buy a Brand-X or something similar from CRC?

Rebuild it yourself? Stick a new style (blue rubber) IFP in and it'll be fine.

They're a little fiddly to do, but far from rocket science and the parts and tools you *actually* need aren't that expensive.

Probably not worth £100 to service it. Especially if the top cap bushing has gone as well which is quite possible.

However, if you've got the time, tools and skis then it's not a difficult job.

Is it a new frame? Could it be sorted under the warranty?

Ahh it's an internal routed one so does that make it a A2 stealth?

Someone on eBay does a service for about £50, probably worth a try otherwise you could almost get a brand new brand x

Hey Duncan.
I just saw that. I think I'll try him 🙂

Anyone know where service parts are in stock?
I have saggy B1 which needs IFP and also has leaked oil at base so would like to replace seal head
