Dropper post initial stiction

I have a One-Up V2 dropper, it's getting stuck at full extension, like very strong stiction. Needs a firm sit to start it moving.

Once moving it's fine, and doesn't stick again unless it's stayed extended for a couple of minutes.

Very annoying as I can't just lower it by pressing any more, have to bang it to start every now and again.

I've serviced it once but this issue didn't show up until some time afterwards.

Any ideas what could be causing this before I take it apart again?

Does the tightness of the seatclamp make any difference?

Does it do it out of the bike ?

Yes it's the 180.
Dunno about rearwards pressure, it just seems to get stuck. Once freed it slides just fine even after going back to full extension, unless it doesn't move for a little while.

Will check it out of the bike later...

Have you tried some suspension lube on the stanchion? That might help get past any initial seal striction.
