Was surprised and pleased to find a downhill track in the woods at Orchard Portman last night! Have been there before thinking there was some potential but never found much, well done to whoever built it and was wondering are there more than just the one? I went after dark and only found that one near to the Herepath and then around the back above the lake possibly a small adaption to a footpath which made a little jump and berm at one point.
As it stands I salute the work involved but there isn't really enough there to warrant visiting, except maybe for an after dark quick blast like last night...
My neighbour works for the FC and he was going over that way last week to look at some trails and make sure they were safe.
I think his main worry is Health & Safety conflict with other trail users.
