The cheap plastic kind that go either side of the chainring to help keep the chain on and to protect clothes.
Anyone know where to get them? 104bcd.
Depends on the crankset but nearly all of the ones on my kids bikes aren't replaceable (riveted on). I looked to replace one of the screw together ones and only found them in AliExpress and was more expensive than just buying a new crankset from Frog (decent range of spares online). Most of my kid smaller Islabikes ran without after they introduced those terrible wrap around jobs.
Square taper crankset with standard chainring bolts (104bcd).
You’re best off just replacing the whole crankset with an aliexpress special.
I got this gorgeous little Goldix hollow tech set from there for my youngest daughter’s bike, came with a pretty nice bottom bracket and a guard-equipped narrow-wide chainring all for about £20. The only downside I can see is the slightly wider q-factor over the original Islabikes crankset.

Edit: I will clean her bike tomorrow.
Frogbikes seem to sell them as spares. They also sell cranks with them ready fitted (mainly on page 2 of their website) https://www.frogbikes.com/en_GB/spares/cranks-bottom-brackets/cranks.html
I've ordered parts from Frog before and no issues (not always for Frog bikes).
Islabikes may also be able to help as they do spares for kids bikes (just not complete bikes) if you drop them an email.
