Im watching a mk1 853 bfe frame on ebay, but Im not sure on the geometry of the frame. I know the mk2 is made of a different steel, but is that the only difference? I have a nagging feeling that I read somewhere that the top tubes are longer on the new soul/bfe frames- is that right or are they just the same? Cheers in advance if you can advise.
Yes but there is a 'big' size which is medium length but large height IIRC.

The one Im watching is small, but tbh Im only really watching in case it goes for a song- I dont know much about them but Id quite like to try one out. Ive got a Dialled Alpine at the moment which is utterly brilliant but I think just slightly too big for me at 17/23. Ideally Im looking for a mk1 alpine that is 15/22, which would be more suited to me at 5ft10. Anyone got an Alpine that size they fancy selling? I tried on here on the wanted forum, but nobody took me on. Cheers for your advice chief!
Is it the grey one with the funny dropout? That's my old bike if it is! Exact same geo as the current one.
