For the wiper seals and stuff a the top, is halfords lithium grease ok, or do I need to buy special grease?

I think it does matter. I use RSP ultra slick, (which is different from any of the litium/bearing/automotive greases I've slithered my way through) and i think CRC sell a couple of other versions.

I believe it does as I understand if you use the wrong type it can damage seals and create lots of extra stiction...worth getting the right stuff for.
