Check chainlines, chain rings and chain before a last resort.

If you have tried everything else, i'm sure a old chain device could be butchered to the job.
If your drive train is in good shape have a play with the axle length on the BB.

I went to 2x9 at the front and that cured chainsuck on my Mojo. I used SRAM XX cranks with an X0 shifter to begin with and then upgraded to a XX shifter quite a few months on.
It was great to watch the chain trying to suck upwards and then falling back down ๐ .
