Really like the look of the rear hub eBikes, but they’re all road, or gravel. Would like a HT that had at least some suspension up front, but rear hub drive.

Does one exist?

Why rear hub? What's wrong with mid motors?
Just curious because I am looking for an ebike and had dismissed rear hub motors.

It was pointed out to me when looking, that a rear hub takes a lot of stick off road - impacts/shaking etc - which affects maintenance/longevity. They are also generally (always?) on/off at a set wattage, as opposed to matching pedal input power. This could all be rubbish. We have an Orbea Vibe, which is good, but very on or off in terms of assistance and it doesn't get a lot of off road use.

Could try these people - https://www.oxygenbicycles.com/shop-2/s-cross-mtb

A friend of mine has a few on her hire fleet and they seem ok.

not a fan of the decathlon one linked above.

Nothign wrong with mid motors, just don't fancy one - they just seem to fail a lot and look ugly as fek, with the massive battery and bulky motor.

The rear hub drive models, look like regular bikes which I prefer and I don't need a full fat motor for a pottle around mid level HT.

I'm not after a HT to take down rad trails, but a nod towards mild front suspension would be better than a rigid fork.

I was looking on Google Maps one day & "Stockport eBikes" popped up. He converted my wife's Specialized HardRock for £500.
