Im in process of building an old 2001 DMR trailstar frame I have just bought into a singlespeeder.
Does anyone know what seat post I need and what size seat clamp also?
hmmm some of them were odd sizes. 26.4 or 26.8.
mail me if it's the first - got a brand new one - ordered in error for my sidekick.
Pretty sure they were 26.8mm posts, and used a 28.6mm clamp.
Worth emailing DMR to make sure though, as I could be wrong...
26.8mm IIRC, think I had a 27.0 in mine and it was fine. Dead good frames, run it with 100mm travel

Very old ones were 25.4 seatpost (standard BMX seatpost size) not sure which year mine was, around 2000 I think.
mine's 26.8 and a similar vintage, although not exactly sure which year. 30.0 clamp.
awesome frame, you'll love it. i've stuck a set of 04 Z1's with 150mm travel on mine and it's a really good ride, even though some will say it messes the handling up. weighs a ton but it's bombproof.
