I'm telling you it's the sprocket!
Nothing a tensioner can do will sort your problem IMO, apart from maybe pointing up.
i've tried a superstar ss sprocket and a surly 17t sprocket as per my previous post.
both can't be faulty?
I've had a Tension Seeker for years and if you fit it properly it should be perfick.
Always always always fit it "push up". Sometimes I put a little velcro strap, or zip tie around the jockey axle and chain stay to stop it flapping if the chain has a little too much slack. I never use the spring to make it too tight because that adds a little resistance to the pedalling.
Note - SS sprocket teeth are a lot longer (higher) than ones off a cassette so this might account for the jumping. I know somebody who had a Chris King SS sprocket and it would only work with certain chains. But after a few rides it should settle down.
But just make sure it isn't a 1/8 sprocket. Do this by wrapping the chain around it manually and making sure it all engages and releases nicely.
