I have made a rotating map board for the bars, the map area is A4 in size.
I have the board in the landscape position and the bracket which is attached to the bars is not centered on the board, its on the inside of the bars, with more of the board hanging over the front wheel (if that makes any sense).
The only issue I have had is when I'm hurtling down the trail the board seems to flap/bend up and I'm concerned that it will snap.
Any neat ideas to keep the board from flapping? Or is best to centre the board to prevent less bending/flapping?
Is it not affixed round the stem in some way? I use the most basic mapboard possible for the odd trailquest - bit of ply with 6 holes and 3 zip ties - 2 for bars and one for stem. It sits down the stem a bit so it doesn't flap about.
No, I have an old lighting bracket/board which is attached to the bars, not the stem.
