Its a mavic crossride with deore rotor and caliper.
Tried it on a different bike and it was the same.
Am I missing something obvious?
Wheel with deore hub is fine.

Brand new wheel, or could it have had spacers put back wrongly?

Old wheel, I did have it apart a while back.
The wheel normally lives on my turbo bike so no brake issues.
Just had it to bits again and there's nothing obvious. Shall find a diagram and check again.

Won't be much help but now and then you seem to get an odd mix of fork wheel
And disc that rubs

What forks are you using , are then pre year 2000

Wild guess. Is it a centrelock disc? Have you got it fitted the right way around?

It's on the back and according to the pictures there is a spacer missing.
Coatesy gets first prize.
