Thinking about doing my old Trek up and bin the cantis. It has 2 holes on the rear dropout either side of the panier/mudguard eye. It seems very low but as this is only on the non drive side I can only conclude that these are for some kind of disc brake mount.
Any idea where I can get the mount / adapter from??

Yup - you need an adapter
