Just bought a Trance frame that needs a direct fit mech which I have no experience of. Looked on the usual suspect websites to buy one but have discovered there seem to be subtle variations. All I want is an XT mech for a double but there seem to be several types according to chain line,pull and one which says 'frame specific' but doesn't say which frame!
Can somebody please shed some light on what I need?

If you follow that link above, the one called an e-type is quite commonly used as a direct mount mech with the bb mount removed.
EDIT: Though a very quick google image shows the trances I'm seeing with something more like a high mount.
